Adventures Of A Comic Book Artist is an action-packed spoof of the comic book genre. Stanley wishes more than anything to become an artist at Wonder Comics. DC Wunderman has plans to use the Powerful Pens from Peloponnesia to create real, live superheros. When plans go awry and the Artists accidently create the Super Villain, Dr. Shock Clock, it is up to Stanley to save the day with his own superheroes!
This was originally started as the Spring 3rd/4th grade play last February. Once it became clear a live version of the play could not occur, we switched to a film format and shot both casts in small groups outside with sets and costumes in September. Now you can see the efforts of these amazing kids for yourself.
Donate to GLES PTA to receive a link to watch or download both movies (Cast 1 and Cast 2). All donations will go to pay for the expenses for sets, costumes, music, sound and editing. Anything over the expenses will go to the PTA general fund. Please donate what you can. Think about what you might have given to bring the family to see the show in person and get some treats and a raffle ticket (our usual source of revenue).
If you would like to see the films, but cannot donate at this time, please email email@example.com and she will make sure you receive the link. We want to make sure everyone gets to see this fantastic piece of film history!
